The latest update to the Ministry Scheduler has been released. Version 6.5 is availabe now using the “check for program updates” feature. For more information see the version 6.5 release notes in the link below.

PDS has released an update for the Ledger / Ledger Payroll program.

The most current version is now 6.2.D

You can use the “check for program updates” function in your program to download and install this latest update.

Schedule multiple facilities without setting up groups

You can now schedule multiple facilities, without using a group. In a scheduling wizard, click the Multiple Facs button. Select the facilities you want to schedule.

2012 FEDERAL TAX UPDATE INFORMATION

As promised, this is a follow up to the information sent previously concerning the Federal Tax information for your payroll.Congress has extended through 2012, the employee Social Security rate of 4.2% . This is good news in terms of your federal filing paperwork because you do not have to deal with two different rates for this year. The employer rate remains at 6.2%.If any of you have not yet updated the Federal Withholding tax tables for 2012, you must do so now. The pending decision on the SS rate in no way affected the withholding tables which went into effect in January.

February 2012 Tax Table update

Congress has approved a continuation of the payroll FICA-Social Security tax cut. Your current tax tables for 2012 will apply for the entire year, and no further action is required on your part. If you have not already updated your tax tables for 2012 please contact us.

Create Carbon Copies of Statements and Bills

If you would like to send a CC of a statement or bill you can easily create them using your PDS program. On the family’s contributions/tuition screen click the “billing address” on the left side. Fill out the required address information and select how you would like statements sent. Then when running any statement or billing report click the check box option on the “Selection Information” screen to include billing copies.

Use Church Office Members as Contacts in Facility Scheduler

Did you know?

…that if the contact person for any of the organizations for which you schedule is a member of your parish, you can bring in all of that person’s information from your Church, Formation or School database?

on the Organization screen you’ll find an Import Contact button. This will show you a list of all your individual members. Search for the appropriate contact name. All information including addresses, phone numbers and email addresses will fill in the contact information screen.

And, remember, you can associate more than one contact with each organization.

PDS Program Updates – Latest Versions

PDS recently released a round of updates for a number of their software programs.

If you have not done so recently, take a moment to verify that you are one the latest version.

Click into the “Online Resources” menu of your program and select ” Check for program updates”

the program will walk you thru the process of updating if necessary.
